Examples of the use of e-plans
e-plan habilitation is used today by children, young people and adults with very different challenges, life situations and needs for facilitation. e-plans are designed individually and should be based on person-centred surveys where the people's own needs, preferences and values are used as the basis for designing the solution in close collaboration with the person who will use the plan. The chronological organization makes it possible to adapt the help individually and promote real participation and participation in one's own everyday life. The type and amount of help the individual benefits from is defined for each individual activity and can be easily changed in line with the e-plan user's self-mastery.
Day mode

Day mode gives the person an overview of the day in chronological order. Activities can be organized in a fixed order or flexibly, making the list function as a list of possibilities.
Week mode

In the weekly plan, the activities for the week are displayed, contributing to predictability. It's easy to see which activities have been completed on previous days. If desired, the days of the week can be color-coded using custom colors
Visual countdown timer
A visual countdown timer helps to create predictability and is particularly useful for activities that do not have a clearly defined start and end. Brushing teeth, cooking/baking time or screen/game time are examples of activities where this feature is often used.
Choice
Enabling choices is one of several ways to promote user engagement. By tapping on an option, the activity is automatically added to the schedule. Choices are often used to select food and activities, but can also be combined with other features such as symbol marking, FaceTime, or URL.
Action chains
Many people need visual support in carrying out everyday activities or in mastering new tasks at home or at school/work. By designing individual action chains with an adapted amount and type of help, e-plan can contribute to real self-mastery and active participation in one's own life.
Checklists
For many, checklists can be a smart way to remember everything that needs to be packed in a bag, shopping cart, or to find certain things before an activity can begin. Checklists have helped many people become safer and more independent.
Decline activity
Similar to choices, the ability to decline/say no to activities can be a good way to participate in your own everyday life. The function can be available on all, none, or selected activities.
Color coding
Color coding of activities is an effective way to categorize activities or convey information about characteristics of activities. Must/should tasks (cf. behavioral agreements), independent/assisted, indoors/outdoors are examples of the use of color coding.
Note pages
Note pages allow you to add additional text to each activity. This can be information for e-plan users, such as social stories, or information for service providers that ensures good facilitation and predictable services.
Alarm/Reminders
Like other calendars, e-plan also has the ability to send reminders/alarms for specific tasks or activities. The alarm leads directly to the activity for which the alarm has been set.
Digital clock

There is always quick access to a simple digital clock, with time, day of the week, date and time of day. The clock also works well as a screensaver where any tap on the screen leads back to the schedule.
Time lock
Some activities are limited to specific times. Using a time lock can be useful to signal whether the activity is available or not. Departure time for school/work or medical appointments can be examples of such activities.
Point
In e-plan it is possible to assign points to activities. The points are added to a points bank where the administrator can approve the points, for example at an agreement meeting. It is possible to use symbols (symbol economy) in addition to numbers (here 3) to show the number of points.
Points bank
Points from each individual activity (where points are activated) are added to a separate bank for approval. The bank is suitable for, for example, evaluation meetings (cf. behavioral agreements). There is a separate login to the points bank.
Random draw
Dice, or random drawing, is a feature that can be motivating and contribute to variety. The options can be visible or hidden. By hiding the options, the functionality can be used to convey a motivating surprise.
Random drawing works well in combination with time locks.
URL Link
It is possible to link a specific URL to activities. By pressing the screen, the website opens automatically, which helps more people to enjoy and take part in the opportunities available on the internet.
Video calls
Many people like to call family and friends but need help to make such calls. Activities (or pictures of people) can be linked to phone/email. If the person clicks on the picture of the desired person, e-plan will automatically open a video call. The function is suitable in combination with selection and time lock.
Symbol marking
Symbol marking is an opportunity to highlight or clarify the characteristics of an activity or choice. The marking is based on the same principle as "keyhole marking" of food in the store, but there is an opportunity to use completely different symbols in the form of emojis. The function makes it possible to clarify "smart choices" or a doctor's recommendation 👩⚕️
